Our Smart Rehabilitation occupational therapy service encompasses the fundamentals of the profession, providing a client-centred, holistic approach enabling engagement in activities of daily living. Our approach is based on the person-environment-occupation model, ensuring consideration of cognitive, physical, social and emotional needs is identified.
Our specialist team uses their skills to ensure a thorough assessment is carried out, identifying the impact of a client’s impairments upon function and the effect of this upon independence and quality of life.

Within our programme of assessment and intervention, our team will consider the suitability of a rehabilitation assistant or support worker, ensuring cost effectiveness and supporting frequency and intensity to ensure the best outcomes for our clients in a timely manner that is supportive of overall wellbeing. Our occupational Therapists use a variety of strategies to support assessment and intervention in a client-centred way, for example, grading and pacing.
